Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My information in the on-line or print directory is incorrect. How do I update it?
A: Currently there is no automated on-line way to update your information. Please send corrections to webmaster@dcfw.net and the information will be updated for you.

Q: When is DCFW going to reissue a print directory?
A: The last directory was printed in 2011. A new print directory is typically printed every 3 years, which means that the next printed directory will be in 2014. The on-line directory should always be up to date.

Q: I don't have a printed directory. How do I get one?
A: Printed directories are provided to all residents who have paid neighborhood association dues to DCFW. If you are new to the community and have not yet received a directory, please contact the Welcoming Committee. If you have misplaced your directory, please contact Tina Wilkinson at tinaw@wilkinsons.com.

Q: How much are annual dues in DCFW? Are they mandatory?
A: DCFW Neighborhood Association dues are currently $45 per year, due in March. These dues are voluntary, and are used for upkeep of the common areas as well as for community events such as the neighborhood block parties. The current breakdown is approximately 60% for common area maintenance, 20% for social activities, and 20% for other expenses.

Q: I am new to the neighborhood or will be moving in soon? How do I get plugged in to all of the activities?
A: The DCFW Welcoming Committee is here for you. Please contact the committee chair as soon as possible. Also, all newcomers are invited to attend the DFCW newcomers dinner free of charge.

Q: I would like to share some interesting information/my expertise/a recipe/a wine/photos. How can I do that?
A: Your input to the DCFW website is highly desired. Do not be discouraged if you do not see an area for the topic that you would like to share. Have great photos from the last DCFW event? We want 'em. Want to write a monthly column on woodworking? We'll find a place for it. Please send all requests to webmaster@dcfw.net.

Q: What is the password to view the DCFW directory on line?
A: For our residents' security, the directory is protected from random view and search engine robots by a password. You should have received the password when you received your printed directory. If you have not received a password or have lost it, please contact Tina Wilkinson at tinaw@wilkinsons.com.
